Communication interface; Modbus Server - PDA Modbus TCP/IP Interface for communication with modicon plc. Act as Modbus server (slave) to serve requests from an active Modbus client (master), who is initiating the communication on the Modbus network.

Server functionality:
- Act as a passive communication partner
- Responder for a Client request only

Limited to systems that can communicate via Modbus over TCP/IP such as
Modicon and Quantum series NOE, 200, 500, 700, ...

On Modbus communication with PDA, each connection (link) is mapped to a PDA module

4 types of modules are supported:
- Modbus_INT
- Modbus_FLOAT
- Modbus_DIG512
- Modbus_GENERIC

Special Remarks:

Requires a PDA basic license

Please provide to us the dongle number of the existing PDA license with your order that we can prepare the license extension for your dongle

If there are more than 64 communication connections (modules) required, the interface can be extended with additional 64 interfaces (modules) with the license "one-step-up- Interface-Modbus over TCPIP - Server". This license extension can be used 3 times per interface and allows in total 256 connections (modules) per interface.
