New Features
Visualize and filter ibaHD-Server data as trend, histogram or bar chart. The time range displayed can span from years to microseconds, depending on the time of acquisition, even large amount of data is displayed with almost no delay. Visualize HD events as table or trends of values included in the event as event fields. Variations or statistical analysis of the events are possible with the available tiles. The filter concept implemented in ibaDaVIS allows to filter and visualize the data of the newly added datasource ibaHD-Server in the same way as the data from the previously supported datasources such as databases or dat files.
To access ibaHD-Server data in ibaDaVIS, the licensed ibaHD-Server-API-Read interface is required.
With this new version, ibaDaVIS supports a configurable color scheme. The color scheme can be edited by authorized users. Colors of the scheme are used for the automatically assigned colors of signals and values in the tiles like line chart or scatter chart. It is possible to change colors of the scheme individually or to exchange the whole color scheme by export and import. The colors can be edited manually using RGB, HEX or HSL code or selected using a color palette. It is also possible to change the automatically assigned signal colors in the tiles. The line or scatter chart supports this function as well as the histogram and also the bar chart.
Images can be added to dashboards or folders in the navigation structure. Choose schematic representations, photos or process relevant pictograms. The images improve navigation to the dashboards when the selected images are associated with the content displayed in the dashboard.
With this new version signals from the current dat file can be compared with signals from a selected reference dat file. The line chart which displays signals from a dat file is extended by this function and can optionally show the signals from dat files located in a second datasource. The file selection of the reference file is interactive and based on an identifier, e.g. a product ID or a timestamp from a column in the table of the reference datasource. The displayed signals of the two datasources can be synchronized based on digital signals indicating a process start or stop. The signals can be compared visually in stacked and envelope mode. Signal comparison in append mode will be supported in version 2.9.0.
The tile table shows data row wise. In many cases there is more detailed information required in the visualization as can be displayed. The grid can be used to display the additional requested information. When you select a row in the table, the grid will update the grid cells with content of the selected row from the table. In line and scatter charts which display the content time-based a marker highlights the position in time of the selected row.
The line chart and the scatter chart support the visualization of data ordered by sequence. The usual time-based trend can be switched to a sequence-based trend view. The sequence as x-base makes it easy to track trends that are displayed with long gaps on the time axis under usual circumstances.
Improvements
The dashboard navigation page is extended by a search bar to find dashboards or folders by name.
Data from a datasource of type General table can be visualized and filtered on the dashboards as table or pie chart.
Improvements are made to ease the login for active directory user. Users which are registered in Active Directory can login with user name only or the E-Mail address email instead of the AD login name.
The table on the dashboard displaying data from any ibaFile table can be used to send existing pdf reports from dat files directly to the printer. The Download of the pdf files is still supported but not required upfront.
A replacement file path can be defined for dat files which are not located at the extraction folder any more. The replacement file path is used to access the dat file content directly and also to provide the dat file download. The replacement file path will also be used on the table tile for as displayed file name.
